Patent can be defined as the certificate granted by the State, by virtue of which the holder thereof is recognized as having the exclusive right of use of an invention for a specific time period.
EUROPEAN PATENTS
This is a patent granting system by virtue of which, with a single application and a single Patent granted, the protection thereof extends to all European countries which have been designated in the application.
P.C.T. PATENTS
The P.C.T. (Patent Cooperation Treaty) establishes a system which, with a single International Patent Application, can protect an invention in the contracting countries included in the Agreement.
